elecciones29n.com
An independent portal to explore polls, understand voting and discover Spain’s Congress through an interactive 3D experience.
Context
How can election information become easier to understand? elecciones29n.com brings data, guides and visualisations together, with navigation designed to let you explore each topic at your own pace.
A visit to Congress
The experience starts outside a 3D recreation of Spain’s Congress building. As you scroll, the camera moves through the door to reveal the 350-seat chamber. It is a visual introduction to the place where parliamentary majorities take shape; the homepage animation is illustrative.
Data and context
The portal lets you browse polls, explore the calendar and voting guides, discover candidates and manifestos, and make your own election prediction. Results and explainers on how voting works complete the journey. A coalition simulator is listed as a forthcoming addition.
My own project
I handle the concept, design and development. The site is available in Spanish, Catalan, Basque and Galician. It is an independent project with no affiliation to an official body or political party, and links to official election information to put the material in context.
